1.9 FLORENCE FICK (ROBERT⁶, JOHN⁵, JOHN⁴, JOHN³, JOHANN DANIEL², JOHANN HEINRICH¹)   was born on the 25th of April, 1896 in Douglas, Isle of Man and died on the 19th of December, 1981, in Toronto, Ontario. She married (1) REUBEN EDWARD HOROBIN, son of ALFRED JAMES HOROBIN and MARION WOODWORTH, on the 20th of December, 1919, in Toronto, Ontario. He was born on the 6th of November, 1892, in Woolwich, Kent, England, and died on the 5th of May, 1947, in Toronto, Ontario.  FLORENCE married (2) DAVID SMYTH.

NOTES on FLORENCE FICK and REUBEN EDWARD HOROBIN:

About 1915 Reuben joined his brothers-in-law, Walter, Edward and Robert Fick, and Richard Clarke, as a Conductor for the Toronto Street Railway Company. In 1916 they all took leave of absence from the TSRC to volunteer for service with the Canadian Army.
